Please note:

  • The safety of our pupils is paramount. We must ensure that each pupil is collected safely and by the right adult. Therefore end of day collection will take some time, particularly at the start of the academic year, while we get to know each child's parents/carers.
  • Pupils attending Orchard View Primary Academy are not permitted to collect younger siblings. An older sibling who attends secondary school may collect a pupil only where the parent or carer has provided prior written permission and the sibling has been officially named as an authorised collector.
  • The academy reserves the right not to release a pupil if the arrangement has not been authorised or if staff have concerns about either child’s safety, maturity, needs or ability to travel home safely. In such circumstances, the parent or carer will be contacted and required to arrange an appropriate alternative.

Please ensure that you inform the office by 2:30pm if someone different is collecting your child.
