Welcome to Orchard View Primary Academy

I am delighted to have been appointed as the Head of Academy at Orchard View and I look forward to meeting all of our new children and families, as we embark on this exciting journey- shaping a brand new primary academy together!

At Orchard View, we are dedicated to creating an exciting and engaging learning environment where every pupil is supported, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We have created a broad and enriching curriculum that is shaped around the needs and interests of our Orchard View pupils and as a result, every child, regardless of their background or abilities, will develop the knowledge, skills and attributes needed to thrive in every aspect of life, both within and after their time at Orchard View.

As a new academy, we have a wonderful and unique opportunity to shape a culture of excellence from the very beginning- one where high expectations, inclusion and a love of learning is at the heart of everything we do. We firmly believe that education is about more than just academic success and we strive to nurture well-rounded, empathetic and resilient pupils, ready to contribute to the world with confidence and integrity.

We are incredibly lucky to have Kingsbrook View Primary Academy just around the corner from us, who are also a part of Inspiring Futures Partnership Trust. A place where we will not only begin our journey, but where we will forge strong links that will greatly benefit both pupils, staff and the wider community in the future.

As Head of Academy, I am committed to developing a positive and inclusive learning environment, underpinned by mutual respect, kindness, and a sense of belonging. It is incredibly important to me that Orchard View is a place where all members of the Orchard View community feel valued, appreciated and supported.

We firmly believe that strong partnerships between pupils, families, staff, and the wider community are essential to Orchard View’s future success and this is why we aim to work closely with parents and carers throughout their child’s time at Orchard View, building strong, positive relationships in all aspects of academy life.
